Privacy Policy
Hi, and welcome to MentalRoot! You (“Member,” “you”) may be able to use our mental health platform to connect with mental health professionals as a member. The medical director of MentalRoot Health P.C. (also known as “MentalRoot P.C.”) and MentalRoot Inc. (also known as “LilliesFriendsi.”), A Delaware corporation has signed a management services agreement. Together, they are called “MentalRoot Health,” “we,” “us,” and “our.”
What does MentalRoot do? MentalRoot manages MentalRoot P.C. and provides other services related to this to make sure that our members’ experiences with MentalRoot Health go smoothly. MentalRoot offers a wide range of non-medical services, such as help with scheduling and intake, software services, site maintenance, and tech support.
What does MentalRoot P.C. do? Members who are eligible and give their permission can get therapy services from MentalRoot P.C. and its licensed practitioners, as explained below. It is only MentalRoot P.C. that oversees and controls the Therapy Services and the clinical decisions that Practitioners make during sessions with Members.
What does this deal mean? You must carefully read these Member Terms and Conditions of Use (“Conditions of Use “) because they explain how you can use MentalRoot’ websites and mobile apps, such as MentalRoot.org and the MentalRoot app (“Sites “) when working with MentalRoot Health and its professionals. The Sites are owned and run by MentalRoot.
These Conditions of Use are written in legal language. You must agree to these Conditions of Use to become a Member. These rules apply to people who sign up for an account and use the Sites to get mental health care and other services related to that. Every Member indirectly uses the Sites. This means that they can use the programming interface to get in touch with licensed mental health and medical professionals trained to offer services over the internet (called “Practitioners”). Members who qualify and give their permission can get help for ADHD, acute stress, anxiety, chronic fatigue, depression, insomnia, phobias, PTSD, weight loss, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and other conditions related to these (“Therapy Services “).
Therapy Services are not services for emergencies. If you are having a medical emergency, like suicidal or murderous thoughts, you should call 911 or go to the emergency room closest to you right away.
We can change these Conditions of Use at any time and for any reason. If a Member continues to use the Sites, they agree to be bound by any changes that happen in the future. It is suggested that you check these Conditions of Use often to see if they have changed. You shouldn’t sign up for an account on our Sites if you don’t agree. Take your time reading these Terms of Service.
